JeremyTBradshaw , that is why I suggested to mention this issue on uservoice. By design, we cannot delete any certificate that is referenced by the Federation Trust object (current or previous). Recreation of the trust or pushing 2 certificates would allow you to get rid off the previous expired certificate but not sure if it worth it for the pop-ups issue in EAC for previous expired certificates that are still associated with the Federation Trust.
