Introducing Exchange Web Services (EWS) Usage Reports in Microsoft 365 Admin Center
My EWS report shows three apps, two of which are first party known Microsoft apps but the third is one I cannot identify. I checked the Entra admin center, I downloaded the csv file of all apps and searched in excel, I tried using Tony Redmond's method from the article he posted by using Graph PowerShell but this one application is no where to be found. Is there any way to add a name column to the report? Is there another way the application can be identified? Thank you.
Where the report highlights an app that can't be found by checking its service principal, it's likely to be a background process run by Microsoft to perform Exchange maintenance...
Thanks Tony. That makes sense. I looked up the SOAP actions such as GetClientIntent and GetUserConfiguration which I found are EWS operations in Exchange so I'm not going to worry about it. Everything we have is Microsoft related. I appreciate the reply.
