First off, this is completely unconscionable to implement mid-contract. We are customers of a tier 1 product like Microsoft because we are enterprise consumers, wanting a best in class product. If I wanted to be treated like garbage, we would purchase more Atlassian or Broadcom products.
The tone-deaf changes like this is going to make me and my current and future organizations divest in Microsoft technologies due to lack of transparency (slipping this change in under the radar and causing us several days worth of data loss), lack of customer engagement, etc.
Also, once you approach 100,000 licensed users in a tenant, your marginal daily email rate PER MAILBOX is 16 messages, then your tenant gets shut down?! If you have a small tenant with 10 licenses, your marginal rate is 1,200. Since when did you prioritize smaller customers like this and penalize your largest customers? I genuinely hope you walk this crap back, or else you're looking at being the next Broadcom or Atlassian, prioritizing income over customer satisfaction. Shame on you!
