Our tenant's most recent message center posted title "Action Required: Update active Exchange Web Services Applications" mentions Entra Application IDs with EWS traffic and recommendations for next steps:
Apple Mail for Mac (f8d98a96-0999-43f5-8af3-69971c7bb423) - Apple Mail for Mac - No action required if risk is acceptable.
Can you advise if this specific App needs to be added to EwsAllowedAppIDs?
From what I can see in the Entra Application even iOS Apple Mail is affected, not only macOS.

True! I missed that on the Apple Internet Accounts App EAS* is added as Microsoft Graph permission.

If you want to be able to keep using the native Mail, Calendar, Contact, Notes and Reminders apps on your Mac, then yes. Until such point as Apple release their updated app, which will not use EWS.
