Introducing Cloud-Managed Remote Mailboxes: a Step to Last Exchange Server Retirement
Hello MS, can we have information about what all type of mailboxes (RemoteRecipientType) it (IsExchangeCloudManaged ) will appear? and what all attribute/settings we can manage on that individual mailbox? I can see in one of the environments the attribute "IsExchangeCloudManaged" only appearing for mailboxes which has RemoteRecipientType as "Migrated".

MicrosoftRavi-Kant Ability to use isExchangeCloudManaged doesn't depend on RemoteRecipientType but rather isDirsynced value. All dirsycned cloud mailboxes whose isDirsynced parameter is true, can be changed from Exchange on-prem managed to Exchange cloud managed.
Can you reverify this in your environment and let us know if you see this otherwise.
So to answer your question, you should be able to change isExchangeCloudmanaged for all dirsynced mailboxes regardless of their remorerecipienttype.
