Interested in your feedback around deploying and managing Exchange Unified Messaging

We are interested in hearing feedback on your experience deploying and/or managing Unified Messaging in Exchange.     Not a lot of questions there... I want Unified messaging with an on premises Exchange without having to stand up a near server farm to deploy this.

    I am still running Live Communication Server 2005 on a virtual Server 2003 because your server needs for the current version are too hefty and I'm not wanting to do hosted Exchange.

    I'm a small office not a large one and you are pushing me towards a non MS solution because you don't currently provide any.

    We use UM as dumb auto-attendant. It's all.
