The ability to give end users a tool to perform eDiscovery searches without the need for IT is great.  But, if the screenshots are not leaving out a query-building UI, then there is a problem.  Robin, as an end user, is not going to know the syntax to create the query and will end up calling the Help Desk for help.  The Help Desk staff won't know the query syntax either, so the case will be escalated.  We then have a situation of senior IT staff having to create all the queries.  This is better than IT staff having to perform the search and deliver the results, but the ideal is to provide a tool that the end user is able to intuitively use without assistance.
