Important notice for Office 365 email customers who have configured connectors
Will we loose the option for SMTP relay to be allowed by IP? I have several customers with devices and services that need to relay messages that do not support TLS.
- +1 JG
We really need someone to confirm whether relaying using connector and IP address will still be allowed
- @RG/JG - yes, the option to relay with just IP will be allowed -- provided that you are sending ONLY from domains that you have verified inside of your tenant. If you are sending with other domains, those messages will be rejected. So your options are to make sure all sending domains are verified, or add a relay in between which can authenticate with TLS.
