Hi,
We’re planning to upgrade a hybrid org (Exchange 2019 CU14) with a 10-node DAG, 2 Edge servers, and several relay-only servers to Exchange Server SE.
1. Is it recommended to manually run "setup.exe /PrepareAD" (with or without the /TenantOrganizationConfig switch??) before the first upgrade in a hybrid environment? Or we can run the setup directly with the GUI wizard and with Enterprise Admin and Schema Admin permissions.
2. After upgrading Edge servers to SE, should we recreate the Edge Subscription, or will the existing one continue to sync?
3. Any known issues or special considerations for hybrid + Edge setups when upgrading to SE?
4. Is there any impact if we are unable to upgrade all servers by October 14th?

- Yes, you will need to recreate Edge subscription.

- No immediate physical impact; Exchange will keep on working, but it will become unsupported (no updates and no MSFT support)
