Having the following issues with a mailbox role installation of Exchange 2010 - wondering if anyone has seen this? I did a complete wipe and rebuild of a mailbox server's OS, and also manually deleted the object from AD in the configuration partition. I've rebuilt the OS, and I also rebuilt all of the attributes and objects within AD. I am trying to install the mailbox server role, readiness checks pass all the way until it gets to the Mailbox Server Role component.... The error I get from the readiness check for the mailbox role is:
The following error was generated when "$error.Clear(); if ( ($server -eq $null) -and ($RoleIsDatacenter -ne $true) ) { Update-RmsSharedIdentity -ServerName $RoleNetBiosName }" was run: "You can't leave the EmailAddresses parameter value empty. Property Name: EmailAddresses".
I am totally stuck, can't find this posting anywhere - I've tried renaming the machine and reinstalling Exch2010 - I'm using the Release Candidate - the only thing I can think of is that there are some AD accounts that still have mailboxes homed on this server before it was wiped and reinstalled?.....
Can anyone please help? Much appreciate any assistance.
