I think I understand now. First, you need to somehow match the mailbox to the user accounts (move-mailbox account match is based on SMTP address, source objectSID and target sidHistory, and legacyExchangeDN). If you want to use the move-mailbox option to delete the source account (the one that is currently associated with the mailbox) you need to disable it first.
