I don't think there are any solutions on Google side.
If it were an onprem environment I could work on the targetaddress for redirect the request during sync, but I don't think it's possible to fill this attribute on Entra ID.
I had also thought to migrate the contents to a temporary (shadow) mailbox, delete it and reconnected the disconnected mailbox to the real user (synchronized) , but from what I know in EXO it is not possible to connect a disconnected mailbox to another user.
If you can investigate internally I would appreciate it.
Consider that there are approx 2500 accounts and that solutions such as creating a contact/MEU could cause confusion for users.
