Does it really have to be this difficult to monitor health? Why the needs to be so PowerShell dependent? We know PS is a great tool but it's almost as though we're headed back to the days of 1975 and everything is available only via command line. I understand the granularity is certainly very worthwhile to those who have the time to drill this far. However most of us do not. A lack of monitoring and reporting on Exchange has been an issue since the product was first shipped. Providing better high-level analysis tools in ADDITION to the above would be much more warmly received. Combined with the changes in Win Server 2012/EMC to EAC and a removal of such tools as ExBPA, it's made the job more difficult than it needs to be. Thankfully there's people like Steve Goodman around making our lives easier, filling in the gaps on health reporting.
