We are also experiencing the same issue, getting ExchangeManagedAttributesUpdateNotAllowed and our entra connect sync is 2.5.79.0

We have the same issue on 4 test mailboxes currently. Entra connect is on 2.5.79.0 and for these users we also get the ExchangeManagedAttributesUpdateNotAllowed error in the sync. But what I also noticed was that due to this sync error the user object is not synced at all anymore. Any normal on-prem AD field that is changed no longer shows the change in Entra. This is not workable.
There is a new entra connect version that is supposed to fix this.
