If I read between the lines here, especially the reference to "sync objects from Azure Active Directory to Exchange Online", I'm guessing that this change is happening at that point? So for cloud-only customers, it will mean when new accounts are created with a mailbox, they will have in Exchange Online:
ExternalDirectoryObjectId = AzureAD's ObjectID
Name = EDOID
DistinguishedName's CN = EDOID
And that afterwards, Name can be changed, but the CN component of the DN cannot?
Or is this being done in AzureADConnect somehow, and will have no impact on me? You've tagged "Hybrid" specifically, and your examples are all hybrid, so maybe this means it won't affect me?
