Excellent article, this may help me with my current issue.
I had 3 exchange servers, 2 production, 1 dr
the 3 were part of a DAG
production servers would not mount databases,
dr system board went,
I was able to get the dr system up and running,
but have reminants of two prod servers,
can I remove the 2 production servers?
I have them turned off to avoid confusion, not sure if that is causing some of my issues...
emails are flowing, but outlook wants to connect to one of the prod servers for mailboxes....
should I just leave things alone, or should I use some of your steps above to remove the 2 production exchange servers that we wont' be using?
they are all Exchange 2010.
