I use a popular third party application, Hubspot, to manage email that arrives via Outlook 365. I am not an IT person, and I do not work for any other organization that has an Administrator. It's just me.
Microsoft and Hubspot both tell me the Hubspot product will not work in the 365 environment. With no knowledge of it, I deduce many third party software vendors are affected by this Microsoft decision.
Does this mean Microsoft will release new protocols that take the place of the ones they are losing? If so how will I know? Microsoft has not tried to sell me anything new, or offered to upgrade my system.
Does Hubspot now have to upgrade their product? They are telling me they no longer work under 365, as if I now have a choice of other platforms. But they do not tell me of any other platforms their customers use. Meanwhile they continue to charge me for a once-valuable service.
As is obvious, I have no idea what's involved. As such I would appreciate any insoghts/advice. Tech people I know hate Microsoft and abandon it whenever possible, but they have the expertise to assemble and maintain their own systems. I do not.
Thanks!
