Basic Authentication Deprecation in Exchange Online – September 2022 Update
Nino_Bilic please, can you explain us something more about app password and disabling basic authentication?
you says: "We are not making any changes to SMTP Auth starting on October 1st. If it works today, it'll keep working from October 1st, until the day when SMTP Auth support for basic auth goes away (which has not been announced)."

We can read:
"Blocking Basic authentication will block app passwords in Exchange Online. For more information about app passwords, see https://support.microsoft.com/office/3e7c860f-bda4-4441-a618-b53953ee1183."
According to this statement, I understand that all protocols (POP/IMAP/SMTP) are being blocked
It's correct?
