steveallen1977 There are two separate things here; there is a screenshot in this blog post that shows a bunch of checkboxes that you can use to turn off authentication policies (block basic auth by yourself) in the Microsoft 365 admin center. If that is what you did, then you can uncheck those and turn the authentication policy off for EWS.
If, however, you run the diagnostic (by using the blue button in this blog post) and the diagnostic tells you that we (Microsoft) have disabled basic auth for EWS for you, then you will need to open a support ticket to have us re-enable that during September. The diagnostic right now can only take "opt-out requests" (which is so we do not turn off basic starting October 1st) - so during the month of September, we do not have a diagnostic that lets you turn back on what we (Microsoft) turned off for you.
