The native mail app on iOS has supported OAuth for about two years (can't remember exact iOS build offhand, but I assume it's somewhere), and yes, the app still uses ActiveSync. We're not disabling ActiveSync itself bainslie_Sufs , just basic auth for ActiveSync. OAuth for ActiveSync will keep working just as it does now.
With regard to ActiveSync and 'supported devices' - I'm not nit-picking, but we don't 'support' any devices (with the exception of Outlook mobile I guess) - we can't keep a list of devices or apps that support OAuth as it's a) a very long list, b) ever changing and c) honestly, it doesn't matter to us what device you use, it's your choice. If the device uses a protocol we provide access to, using an auth mechanism that works, great. If it doesn't, it's the app or device supplier you need to ask for help, not us.
Ron Houet so tell your users to use Outlook mobile, or the native app on iPhone (as long as the device has an iOS build from the last two years), or find an app you know supports OAuth for Exchange Online on Android (Gmail does for example) and tell them to use it. Most organizations I talk to try and standardize, to make life easier for support. But it's a free choice from the service provider perspective.
rfoppen - news soon. That team hit a slight delay.
