Greg Taylor - EXCHANGE - Tried the Always Prompt...... no joy..... Alas, Setting up the Exchange A/c insists on Saving the MS A/c Creds either in this App Only (aka all Office Suite) OR for all devices.... It would make way more sense to allow the Customer to choose if they want to Save it in Office at all - but then it's used to insist on OneDrive etc across the Apps, another - wish it wouldn't frustration.....
Access to other services should be ultimately upto the End User (or their IT Support), meaning if we don't need the extra services, we could simply deselect them or not be authenticated until we choose to select them - Authenticator use required...... I understand the end user experience ease it creates, but actually it also creates end user issues & confusion for many too when they don't understand/want/need those services...... Just saying...
I wish I could figure out what made the Customer's Outlook always pull up the Authenticator, when the domain was freshly "unaltered" at Defaults, as with Defaults on, it hasn't returned to that..... as the Customer's said, they opted NOT to use Outlook in the past for the ease of access for people in their office to get to stuff they weren't entitled, hence they stuck with WebMail via their ISP & never saved password.... painful, but surprisingly real for many SMB environments....
Appreciate your help as always...
Cheers
