I have been reading these comments and posts across the internet to try and understand what's going on, but I don't know anything about tech and am having a hard time following, so wondering if someone would be kind enough to explain what's happening? My job uses outlook for emails, and I have used POP3 to get those emails in a Gmail account and can email using my work address from that same Gmail account. That is no longer an option, and I get an error message that the username and password are incorrect (which is not true). IT at my job has simply said I can no longer do that without offering an option. These posts say it has to do with modern authentication, but I also read that Gmail does use modern authentication/elsewhere said to ensure two factor authentication is on (which it is), so I don't understand why this no longer works? Is there a way to still receive my Outlook emails in my Gmail inbox?
