Hey all! We have been very proactive in getting our 12k mailboxes using basic auth to modern auth using Authentication policies, etc but what if someone (Maybe us) misread the blog somewhat
OR we have a last minute request (Today moving forward) to enable basic authentication for a group of mailboxes that come out of the wood work that we weren't going to allow previously? At the moment, there are no legacy protocols that were actively turned off so in the portal for example admins in this situation don't have the option to opt-out of turning off basic authentication for POP/IMAP (As of today) like we had in Sept.. So it seems the only option is to wait until Microsoft turns it off, then put in the portal request, and wait 2 hours or so for it to kick in?
Is it possible to revert the Portal option back to the way it was in Sept regardless if Microsoft proactively turns off the protocol or not to allow us to opt-out via the portal or do we have to open a ticket or worse case check it every AM to see if that specific protocol was disabled so we can use the portal to opt-out like we could in Sept?
