Previous thread mentioned the need to continue allowing basic auth for service specific app that requires use of IMAP even after Microsoft runs script to disable for entire Tenant. I don't want to do the Opt Out to allow for all users, just want to exclude select few accounts from the global disable policy. We use authentication policies now to disable all Basic authentication for majority of users except select few that still need to use Basic Auth for IMAP.
My question, will the custom policy take precedence over the global policy per what documentation says? If that is correct then IMAP should continue to work for those select few accounts after global disable is set on our Tenant.
I know don't ask, business not ready to upgrade app to support use of Modern Auth...
