Assuming we would place a bet and consider to wait for the GA release of CCF for IMAP, is there any upfront work we could do in parallel ? An idea might be looking into /prototyping CCF for some other protocol, but this only makes sense if the integration work we'd need to do is similar or nearly same as it will look like for CCF for IMAP.
Our product is a Java application polling via Javamail. What would be a reasonable prototype or preparation to lower the risks of hitting some wall in the narrow timeframe from June (in worst case) until October you could recommend?
