Additionally, Defender only shows 30 days of data, and not everyone that has the permission to execute message traces in Exchange Online have permission is Defender to search messages in mailboxes.

Thank you for your feedback, PS_Exchange_Adm. We appreciate your suggestions and understand how valuable additional data such as the connector used, TLS version, and attachment information would be in Message Trace.
Currently, our primary focus is on expanding the retention period from 10 days to 90 days and addressing system storage and performance challenges associated with this increase. Implementing features like displaying connectors, TLS versions, and attachment presence requires significant backend changes and additional data processing.
We recognize that having this information available within Message Trace would enhance its functionality and reduce the need to switch between tools like Microsoft Defender. Your suggestion to include conditions in search queries for messages with attachments is also valuable.
These enhancements are definitely something we will consider for future updates once we've addressed our current priorities. We aim to continuously improve our services based on user feedback, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
