It's a great news you are now developping a way to use REST for Exchange Admin scenarios.
I understand this API is a REST-Based API and not REST-Ful because you need to provide a fast and dependable replacement for key EWS Exchange scenarios. But, with this decision to developp a REST API for Exchange Admin Scenarios, please reconsider the choice and make All Exchange Admin cmdlets PowerShell available in Graph API in order to uniform, instead of creating a new API.
Here below some scenarios not available with GRAPH API or with this new REST API for Exchange Admin Scenarios :
- Get Owners of ditribution lists/Mail enabled Security Groups
- Get ditribution lists/Mail enabled Security Groups the user owns
- Add/remove members/owners to ditribution lists/Mail enabled Security Groups
- Create and Remove ditribution lists/Mail enabled Security Groups
- Manage MailContact object (OrgContact in read only in GRAPH API)
- ect...
But the decision to go on the developpment of a REST API for Exchange Online is the best news of the month 😀
