Hi Greg Taylor - EXCHANGE - it is worth your noting that previous documentation on  OAuth2 support in Outlook 2013 (and later versions) makes no mention of support being permanently restricted to MAPI/HTTP.: vide for example https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/security-and-compliance/enable-modern-authentication?view=o365-worldwide

I think it was widely known over the last two years or so that support was 'not there yet' but many - I was one - assumed it would be being added as part of the work to expunge Basic Authentication altogether (although SMTP appears to have escaped - at least for the time being).

And I apologise to @Alex_Riaviz for not reading his post properly.
