I too am having problems with this impacting emails that are auto-forwarded or redirected (using a rule) from one consumer Microsoft account to another. To reproduce:
1. Set up an email redirect rule to send email from account1 @ example.com to account2 @ example.com
2. Get someone who has a dmarc reject policy to send an email to account1 @ example.com
Expected behaviour:
- email is delivered to inbox of account1 @ example.com and account2 @ example.com
Experienced behaviour:
- email is delivered to inbox of account1 @ example.com but generates a NDR from account2 @ example.com ("Access denied, sending domain [#sender-domain#] does not pass DMARC verification and has a DMARC policy of reject.")
