Honestly, I find the beginning of the article quite offensive since “ code-first developer" is an artificial term created to describe anyone who is not solely reliant on Power Apps and can also solve customer requirements with code.
If you say we now ship tools that help people with development skills for easier debugging, the tone is more appropriate. Especially when the information comes from Microsoft.
I highly appreciate the enhanced debugging capabilities of PowerApps. Well done. The message however should be shared in a more neutral tone. Most of us who live in both worlds—Power Apps and Development—are not running around and saying "Makers" are not really "Makers; only people like Adam Savage are.
If Microsoft needs to judge people this way, it shares are bad light. We are all people that try to provide the best solution for our customer, regardless which tool we use.
