Thank you for raising this .. I’ve also been looking for a reliable way to embed Word and Excel files from Microsoft services directly into my website...

So far, I’ve been using Google Drive because I wasn’t sure how to embed Office documents properly.

For now, I just provide downloadable templates on my blog, mainly for administrative use in village governance in Indonesia:

I’m following this thread closely and would appreciate any updates from Microsoft or others who’ve solved this.
