Copilot Notebooks and Study guide now available to Copilot Chat users

This is definitely a step in the right direction! Makes me happy that this is available to Copilot Chat users as well.

Towards the end of your post, you mentioned that this is for studying and not for a grade, which makes perfect sense. An additional future step is, in fact, to have a Chat with Copilot assignment format that writes to the grade book, for instance, through the Microsoft 365 LTI tool or in Teams. 

Such a chat assignment would allow the educator to assign specific objectives or ground the chat in specific pieces of content. Copilot would provide assistance to students who are struggling and accelerate for students who showed a solid grasp of the material. When the student met the course objectives, completion would be reported to the gradebook.

Such an assignment format could be invaluable, as it could help students think through case studies, scenarios, branching scenarios, etc.
