We are excited to announce the standalone version of Tournament of Teams is now available! We originally launched Tournament of Teams as part of the Champion Management Platform (CMP) and while it is still available as a module within the CMP, the feedback we heard from you was looking for a way to consume this platform independently. You'll find this template to match everything you've come to expect from Tournament of Teams with a few new additions as well, like enhanced tournament reporting!

Enable the entire organization to participate in the gamification and learning experiences of fun adoption-themed tournaments:

  • Create and deliver tournaments to help drive healthy usage of the scenarios and tools your users need
  • Inspire users and run campaigns promoting new adoption themes and deep link learning to more precise and actionable information for knowledge in the moment (link to Microsoft 365 Learning Pathways and other solutions)
  • Track and record tournament information for post-event recognition and impact measurement using built-in reporting

Tournament of Teams, coupled with a vibrant Champion community, can help accelerate your organizations drive for organizational learning through fun and unique app templates! Let us know what you think and how we can continue to make these templates better for you!

The module for Tournament of Teams located within the Champion Management Platform also includes these latest updates, such as the new tournament reporting.

Hi GillespieD , we use examples of Teams tournaments - but you can leverage for any other app/M365 service as well!

Hi JoshLeporati , thanks for the article. Is TOT only for Teams activities? Could TOTs be used to set tournaments for other apps or M365 services?

Thanks for this information JoshLeporati . It is still unclear for me who creates these tournaments for who; do I understand correctly that all employees/users company wide can take part of a tournament. Is the tournament then created by e.g. the adoption manager/consultant, or by the champion specifically for it's business unit with specific activities/scenarios? I look forward to hear from you!
