"NSLOOKUP -type=all _vlmcs._tcp"

i've just run this in four separate domains, all running ad-based volume activation for years, and i don't see anything about any domain controllers. all i see is the top section of your output screenshot, down to the "svr hostname = (the old kms server)" line.
