Great post and makes you wonder - Why is it designed to be so difficult to setup?  Thanks for the write-up.  I was getting a report every two days instead of every day.  Turns out it was because of the running just past 24 hours so every 2nd day's start time would get missed... This thing (perfmon) deserves an award for being so prone to failure.
