I'm not a WebView2 specialist so I can only guess here. WebView2 probably won't use the Edge GPO settings shown above in Scenario 1. However, it should make use of the WinHTTP proxy service when it is configured (as mentioned here on github: System proxy setting support · Issue #912 · MicrosoftEdge/WebView2Feedback). Anyway, you should test it before since I cannot give you a reliable information in this matter. Sorry 🤕. But maybe someone else in the Tech Community can help you.
