If you have apps and want to use ldaps connectivity you need ldaps certificate in your AD. If you have specific DCs that have ldaps certificate point your applications there. If you have one Host A  record in dns pointing to all your DCs, make sure you have certificate for that dns record present in the SAN section of the certificate in ALL DCs.
