MicrosoftGreat article. I wish that Windows Time on an internal domain would work properly. My company manages about 3500 devices and I keep finding devices where the local machine (sometimes the PDC that is configured as the authoritative time server for the domain) refuses to honor the settings and syncs from the local CMOS clock. I have this happening on at least two PCs on my own corporate network and I had it happen on a client's Server 2016 DC multiple times. I got tired of having to fix it so I installed a third-party tool on the DC that maintains an accurate time. The settings are correct on the devices to have them sync from the appropriate source and I've tried all means of resetting Windows Time and the devices refuse to honor the settings.
