Now you can print Workbooks ! Azure portal enables printing and allows to save workbooks as PDF

1. Print is available on the blade next to the name under action ellipses

2. A print dialog opens and you can select the destination to 'Save as PDF' and change the layout as needed for your Workbook

3. After save this workbooks will be available as a pdf file wherever you saved it.

Happy printing !

Feature is as useless as it gets, most workbooks cant be sent to pdf as they are just cut in half, wherever the A4 page ends. No wonder it was hidden in a menu that noone would normally check.

    Please update this properly 🙂

I agree with Mike Douglas I didn't find this feature myself. I need to Google for it and read this post.

I also noticed it is the same as the default 'Print Webpage' or CTRL-P, with the same restrictions.

It would be nice if 'Save as PDF' would create a proper PDF, without splitting the diagrams on multiple pages and showing all data.

Now, most likely due to zooming issues, same diagrams look different in the PDF then on screen. Especially if the diagram has a few high values and mostly low values. The low values don't end up in the PDF-version.

The first image is a screenshot from the PDF. Not all values are shown and the diagram is split over multiple pages.

The second image is a screenshot from the workbook. I expected the same image in the PDF.

So in short: This is a much needed feature but it needs a bit more love.

Will it be updated in the near future or is this what it is?

great feature but not very discoverable.  I didn't even know that was a menu.  Can you add this to the toolbar?

    Thanks,
