great premise - just not the full mileage required for a great tool
- there is a bug in the Topology viewer that isn't documented publically and just shows blank topology - but support are fully aware of it; not fixed in last 6 months.
- the agent if installed on prem is prone to failure and requires frequent manual restarts (or scripted) - there is no logging on the agent to assist in why it is required
- the agent needs cache capabilities to recover from stats where
- the network watcher tools for diagnostics would benefit from being able to work with agents on prem (not just azure)
- Topology needs to map to alerting - so downstream agents don't alert if upstream is agent has died.
as we have been operating hybrid - we have given up on this and moved to a third party tool.... .shame
