Azure MCP Server connects AI clients to Azure services through natural-language tools. That can accelerate investigation, but it also puts model-generated requests in the path to Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and data-plane operations. This article threat-models a read-only Azure incident workflow and shows how Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, managed identities, Azure Policy, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor can keep AI-assisted operations useful, auditable, and within approved boundaries.
