Understanding your Azure savings plan recommendations

HI team, one question, Saving plans are a great tool but not being able to modify or cancel make things a little bit difficult. One of my customers is asking "if we commit at subscription level, and we delete the subscription (no more needed, PoC, etc) the saving plan is automatically disabled" I can imagine that is tru but can you confirm ?
