That sounds nice. But for me socket.io looks from the scope quite similar to SignalR. Are there plans to build a service that handles all the messages but abstracts the protocols away. So that you deploy one resource that just provides an endpoint for SignalR and an endpoint for socket.io. So this resource can easily be used in a mixed environment.

I guess it would be nice to have a service like that.
