Function app deployment from Azure DevOps never complete

Are you able to download the zip as a DevOps artifact and manually push it to the Function App (via the Az CLI for example)? Just as a test to confirm there's nothing wrong with what you're pushing. Alternatively, can you run the Function App code locally.

 

You may also need to set the Function App config WEBSITE_RUN_FROM_PACKAGE : 1

Also - have you been through Continuous delivery with Azure Pipelines ?
