💡 100% true — data modeling is the backbone of Power BI.

You can build the most beautiful visuals, but without a solid model, insights will always be misleading.

One-to-many relationships ensure accurate aggregations and prevent double counting.
Star schema keeps models simple, performant, and scalable — fact tables at the center, dimensions around them.
Filter direction controls context flow; using single direction by default avoids ambiguity and performance issues.

    📊 A strong model means:

    • Cleaner DAX
    • Faster reports
    • Fewer bugs
    • Trusted business decisions

    👉 Rule of thumb:

Fix the model first. DAX and visuals will follow naturally.

This mindset separates Power BI developers from Power BI professionals.
