I don't have much further insight to provide, beyond what Lincoln provided. There are at times complexities in the system that become challenging to adjust fix without impact. Appreciate the thread and feedback. We'll continue to review options per any upcoming change opportunities.Re: Label definitions visible? Jeff Banks - if anyone is willing to provide the case ID number of the support issue they submitted, I can work off that. Best to keep it in the flow of the support case - and can add a few folks for awareness if they are not already involved. - MarkRe: Opening new tabs by design must be changed!!
Andre @ NL Salomons - Just so I'm clear on the feedback, do you mean when a SharePoint page has a hyperlink on it, to not default to open a new tab - rather to remain on the same page. I know when using the Text web part, the default is to not open in new tab; and you can check a box to make it open in a new tab. Can you share an example of when the behavior you describe is the default? And Melito and I can track, discover more and recommend back to the right owners. We noted it as beginning to release within the latest roadmap pitstop blog. It is not at complete 100% rollout as of now. The fix was identified and making progress. Thanks for reaching out. The teams are working hard to ensure the integration between SharePoint and Teams is more seamless over time, and it helps to know those who have the updated experience are seeing progress, knowing that others do not have the experience yet. - MarkRe: I just need Help
Hi TrevorG - Are you able to remove the vendor as your preferred partner, and/or request another vendor. In doing so, you should then be able to request help more directly without getting stuck in the loop hole you seem to be in. You may have already done this, but go to the Microsoft 365 admin center > Support > New service request. And, if your company qualifies for Microsoft FastTrack benefits, that's a great route to go: https://www.microsoft.com/fasttrack (sign in and follow "Get help." The answer is yes, so long as the list resides in a space that allows external sharing. Lists are stored in SharePoint - so one would share at the site (or Teams team) level to invite the guest in. And for "personal lists", ones stored in a user's personal storage in Microsoft 365, could be shared externally so long as the SharePoint admin has enabled external sharing for OneDrive - since we work off the same sharing mechanism for OneDrive files as we do for personal lists.
