Hey Dennis! Confirming that there hasn't been a Windows Canary release since 2/18. There was a Windows specific bug that was causing releases to be held, but the fix was put in as of yesterday -- though it missed the Canary cutoff. ekottawa "Also the theme seems to break at every edge upgrade." This is actually a larger issue that the team is aware of and trying to address, conversation is ongoing on that part! As for this update, if you're using a theme from the Appearance page you can try switching to the default theme then back to your preferred theme, the uninstall/reinstall would be for themes from the web store -- should have clarified that, sorry about that! Hey there ekottawa, thanks for posting! This bug was caught in Canary, but the fix for it didn't quite make the cutoff for Dev this week. The fix is in 100.0.1161.0, which will move up to Dev next week. Most folks can also quickly fix this by uninstalling and reinstalling their theme, if you'd rather not wait for the next update. Yes, the wording of the post was the reason it was removed, because it sounded like a promotional post for an existing feature, including that you added the 'New Feature' tag on your Reddit posts. I left this comment on your Reddit posts that directed to your Tech Community posts as well, but your post was removed as it presents as if this is a new feature in the browser. This sounds like it is actually a feature request, or suggestion. Hey NXTwoThou, I'm a little confused about the title of this post. The next Dev channel build will be 99.0.1141.x so it sounds like you're referring to the Canary build 99.0.1145.0? The dropdown problem is a known issue and the fix was pushed a few hours ago. It looks like the fix made it in to Canary 1146, which is rolling out now. If you're still seeing these crashes after updating Canary to 1146, or if you're seeing them in Dev (currently v99.0.1135.5 or 99.0.1135.6 depending on your platform) let me know. Hey folks! Thanks for reporting back what was causing this for you. It sounds like folks hitting this all have the Malwarebytes extension enabled. If you don't have that extension, check for any other antivirus extensions that may be contributing here. If anyone's running into this even after disabling extensions, please let me know! Otherwise, it might be worth reaching out to the developer to let them know the extension isn't behaving as expected.
