Re: SharePoint Document Library speed?
Hi Ahmad123, I have never worked with such a huge single library. For all my projects I used retention policies and automation to keep documents and records ordered. Anyway, the Library's perfromance depends on many parameters, such as configured indexing, views configuration, number of items per view / per library, etc. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/manage-large-lists-and-libraries-in-sharepoint-b8588dae-9387-48c2-9248-c24122f07c59?redirectsourcepath=%252fen-gb%252farticle%252fmanage-large-lists-and-libraries-in-office-365-b4038448-ec0e-49b7-b853-679d3d8fb784&omkt=en-us&ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us, you may find some clues about configuring large libraries. Theoretically, the difference between 120K and 600K items per library in terms of performance could be noticeable. I afraid, it's inevitable. However, you may improve the performance with better views configuration, indexing and automation to keep the number of items per library reasonable (if applicable). Best of luck!2.3KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Enable scripts in SharePoint
hi AkashHolmetrics, I am not a developer, but it looks like there is nothing to do with SharePoint, the script starts, but it fails because of the error. https://content-security-policy.com/, I found some clues about source values for *-src directives. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/30280370/how-does-content-security-policy-work, I found pretty good guide 'How Content Security Policy works'. Please, let me know, if it helps.3.8KViews1like0CommentsRe: Cannot switch back to reverse historical order for Completed Tasks
Hi inscriptor , I see. It seems very likely, the flexibility and usability you're looking for, basically is not implement in ToDo, as it is quite simple app. What you are looking for Microsoft Lists will provide easily.2.3KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Enable scripts in SharePoint
Hi AkashHolmetrics , I believe you've done everything is outlined https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/allow-or-prevent-custom-script, perhaps, there might be just a missed tiny tick box somewhere. Can you tell us, please, what is happening when you try to run scripts? Are there any logs available?3.8KViews0likes2CommentsRe: SharePoint Online list with 1 day retention policy still showing 3 days of items
Hi rhiheu, Perhaps it happens because the Policy is not determined for the Site Collection as it said https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/retention-policies-sharepoint?view=o365-worldwide: '...A retention policy is applied at the level of a site collection. When you include a SharePoint site collection or OneDrive account in a retention policy, a Preservation Hold library is created, if one doesn't exist. You can view this library on the Site contents page in the top-level site of the site collection. Most users can't view the Preservation Hold library because it's visible only to site collection administrators...'. Cheers, Oleg.2.5KViews0likes2CommentsRe: How to Share Your Lists in Microsoft To-Do?
Hi Stewart3, Looks like the version on video and the current one is slightly different, right now it works following: - Select a list you'd like to share: - Click 'Create invitation link' - Manage the share: is it what are you after?1.7KViews0likes1Comment
