DX11on12 Failing on AMD GPU
Dx11on12 angle is crashing the GPU process. Is someone else facing the problem? Is team looking into it, I have already raised a ticket around it. Please fix it, my edge is showing low performance from the time it started crashing. Until version 96, it was working fine. But then it started failing.901Views0likes1CommentDark Mode - PDF
I have a lot of reading tasks and it becomes hard to read pdf's with white background during the night. I will love to have a option that turns on the dark reading where the background is black and text is white. I know there is a flag for dark mode in chromium browsers. But that's really a pain the way it works, for just changing colours from light to dark using it. Complete restart of browser is required. Even if I turn that flag on, its hard to decipher the pdf toolbar buttons. Its that it doesn't work properly. I am seeking for a solution which would on click of a button change the colours of the pdf or website and does not require restarting the browser. I read locally stored pdf's and extensions don't work on these. If this feature is shipped in the browser, it would be great.4.2KViews3likes1CommentBlockList file in User Settings folder
What is blocklist file? What is the use of that file? After installing EDGE, I found that in the folderC:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Ad Blockingthere is ablocklistfile, when I open it, I see there is lots of URLs in there. Looking at the folder name and file name, I think it's the file that saves the blocked URLs from the browser. However, when I try to open some of the URLs in there, it still loads normally without being blocked. So, what is the use of that file? Thanks.3.4KViews0likes1CommentImproper pdf embed object Rendering - Possible improvement
There is an thing about chromium browser vendor that certainly I dislike is that they consume a lot of CPU and do a lot of unnecessary rendering. Edge Chromium while rendering PDF also renders the sides which are black in case of dark theme or light otherwise. This can be seen in the screenshot. What happens is that when we scroll, these extra side areas which should be static and do not need to be rendered are also rendered. This effect is even more visible when scrolling with "Force Dark Mode Flag" turned on, with white bar scrolling up or down with PDF. The idea is that screen should be divided into three parts of which only the center part should scroll. If the team could look onto this possible improvement, it would be a great. And it would even reduce the CPU cycles consumed.730Views0likes0CommentsCPU usage not dropping - Even with Javascript disabled
HotCakeXI have manually disabled JavaScript through site settings. But the site is still consuming CPU and is causing wakeups in the background. Why is it no tied with Javascript disabling? Is there a way to manually turn off wakeups after page had loaded completely.705Views0likes2CommentsEnable Latent Features
I have a dev build in my system but no features greater than 20H2. How can I enable all the latent features? Does anybody knows how to enable A/B features in the dev preview builds of Windows 10 using regedit or other tool, which are otherwise disabled? There are no taskbar previews, no dark search bar, no dark splashScreen etc. I want to enable these all. Inthis build they have been delievered but not visible in my system. Can anyone help me activate those features?627Views0likes1Comment
