Re: Can't add a a Plan to a Team Channel?
RoseGray The app has been renamed to "Tasks by Planner and To Do" so if you search "Tasks" it should show up as an option. When adding the app as a tab, it's the similar experience you've had with adding the Planner app in the tab previously. The “Planner” app name in Teams has changed to “Tasks by Planner and To Do” - Microsoft Tech Community1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Microsoft Planner Teams tab GroupBy Bucket view
Jamie_A205 You can always view a shared plan (Planner) in Teams in the Board view (Kanban board), whether in the Tasks app in the channel tab or in the left siderail. Can you confirm which view you're looking at? You might be looking at a task list that is shared (To Do) which there isn't a Board view.2.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Microsoft Planner Teams tab GroupBy Bucket view
The second screenshot shows task lists from To Do which is only available in List view, which you can sort by clicking the header. The first screenshot shows a shared plan (either as a tab in a channel or an app on the left siderail) which is available in the Board view, which then you have the option to "Group by".2.5KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Schedule View - Completed Tasks Showing
mking2935 I'm not sure I understand your question on how long completed tasks will be available -- it was always available in Board view and now it's enabled for Schedule and Charts views. Note that this is not an archiving feature. It's really up to you how you want to manage the completed tasks -- you can filter for them so you'll have to think through why you would need to create a "Completed" bucket.13KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Planner view in Teams
Guglielmo_B Thank you for bringing this up -- we are currently rolling out the new Tasks app experience in Teams and you can read about the details here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/planner-blog/announcing-tasks-in-microsoft-teams-public-rollout/ba-p/1502225. While the rollout is still happening, the app name remains as Planner. Based on the screenshots, your colleague has the new Tasks app experience (consolidated view of To Do tasks and Planner tasks), and you will soon have the same view when we finish desktop rollout in the next few weeks. The app name will change at that point.3.4KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Completed Tasks in Schedule View!! ??
EricN41 PDostiyar Brady1365 Thank you for your feedback! We have enabled a new Filter option (Filter by Progress) and this allows us to show Completed tasks in Schedule and Charts view.
